What is Kinetica 1?
Kinetica 1 is one of China's most capable commercial solid rockets. It stands about 30 meters tall, measures 2.65 meters in diameter, and can lift roughly 1,500 kilograms to a 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit. Its solid-propellant design allows for quick integration and short launch campaigns, making it well suited to deploying batches of small satellites like Jilin-1.
