Cosmik

Cosmik Pro

The whole sky, no limits — and no ads, ever.

Cosmik is free and always will be. Pro is for the people who never want to miss the sky: instant X-class solar flare alerts, aurora storm forecasts matched to your city's latitude, the full 10-day pass forecast instead of tonight only, unlimited alerts across up to five cities with your own lead time, and a completely ad-free sky. And the one nobody else does: when clouds kill the pass, Pro tells you where nearby the sky WILL be clear, and how far. We're at solar maximum — the Sun is the show, and Pro is the front row.

Why it exists

Cosmik has no investors and no ad-tech empire — just ~$60/month of servers and data feeds. Pro subscribers keep the free version free for everyone else (and get the best of the sky in return). That's the whole business model.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Cosmik Pro cost?

Cosmik Pro is $3.99/month or $39.99/year. New visitors get a 48-hour launch offer at −50% ($1.99/month or $19.99/year) — and whatever price you subscribe at stays yours for as long as you keep the subscription.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — one click, no questions, and you keep Pro until the end of the paid period. Payments run through Stripe; we never see your card.

Does the free version stay free?

Forever. The live 3D map, ISS passes, aurora forecasts and basic alerts are free with no login — Pro funds the servers so that stays true.

What are the solar flare and aurora storm alerts?

Pro-only, and unique to Cosmik: when the Sun fires an X-class flare, Pro members are alerted the moment it crosses the threshold — the 1-3 day head start on every big aurora night. And when a geomagnetic storm is forecast, Pro compares tonight's Kp against YOUR city's exact geomagnetic-latitude threshold and tells you personally whether the aurora can reach you.

What happens when it is cloudy?

Free alerts go quiet when cloud covers the pass — which is most of the reason people stop trusting alerts at all. Pro looks around you instead: if the sky 40 km east is clear at pass time, it tells you where, and how far. It is the one alert that turns a wasted evening into a short drive.
