Before you drive out
The same three things go wrong at every spaceport. Launches slip.A date that's firm on Monday is routinely 48 hours later by Thursday, and holds at T-60 seconds are normal — check the schedule the morning of, not the week before. Weather scrubs are called late, often inside the final hour, so a free scrub alert is worth more than an early start. The good spots fill. For a routine Falcon 9, one to two hours early is enough; for a crewed flight, a Falcon Heavy or a debut vehicle, plan on three to four, because the parking, not the pad, is the bottleneck.
