Florida's Space Coast — Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and NASA's Kennedy Space Center — hosts more launches than anywhere on Earth, most of them SpaceX Falcon 9s. If you're wondering what that rumble was, or planning a viewing trip, the live schedule below always shows what's next off the Florida coast.
Most missions here are SpaceX Falcon 9s, joined by ULA Vulcan, NASA science flights and Blue Origin's New Glenn, lifting off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (the pads formerly known as Cape Canaveral Air Force Station) and neighbouring Kennedy Space Center. On a clear night the exhaust plume is visible for a hundred miles up and down the coast.

Can you see a Cape Canaveral launch from Orlando?
Yes — on a clear day a launch is visible from Orlando, about 45 miles inland, especially the bright ascent and, at night, the glowing plume. The closer Space Coast beaches (Titusville, Cocoa Beach, Playalinda) give the best view and often the sound.
Why do rocket launches scrub?
Weather (upper-level winds, storms, or rough seas in the booster recovery zone), range conflicts, or a technical hold can push a launch. Many missions have instantaneous or short windows, so a single issue slips the attempt to a backup day — the schedule above always shows the current target.
