What is the payload?
The payload is a stack of Starlink v2 Mini satellites, SpaceX's current mass-optimized design that carries more capacity per spacecraft than the original v1.5 hardware. Each Falcon 9 mission from Vandenberg typically lofts around 20 to 24 satellites depending on their mass and target orbit. Once deployed, they use onboard krypton or argon Hall-effect thrusters to raise themselves to their operational altitude near 550 km.
