Azimuth
Azimuth is the compass direction to an object in the sky, measured in degrees clockwise from true north — 0° is north, 90° east, 180° south, 270° west.
Paired with altitude (the angle above the horizon), azimuth pinpoints exactly where to look for a satellite, a planet or the ISS.
Satellite-pass predictions give the azimuth where an object rises and sets, so you know which way to face.
